Your child will receive their dental treatment in a safe and comfortable environment.
What is Pediatric
Pediatric sedation dentistry involves methods to help young patients relax and remain safe during dental procedures. Our dental team may suggest sedation dentistry for lengthy treatments, instances where your child has a high fear of dental care, finds it challenging to sit still, or has special needs. Sedation methods include nitrous oxide and general anesthesia.
Our highly skilled anesthesiologists are medical doctors who complete medical history before administering sedation to ensure your child receives dental treatment in a safe and comfortable environment. If your child has a dental procedure that requires sedation, our team of skilled medical doctors is here to assist. Providing safe and pain-free treatments to patients is our top priority.
Types of Sedation
At Kid’s Choice our goal is for your child to experience a safe, stress-free environment. One way we are able to achieve that is through the use of nitrous oxide, known as “laughing gas.” This mild form of sedation is a safe and effective method of reducing a child’s pain and anxiety during dental procdures.
Our fully trained anesthesiologist team provides the safest care for children undergoing sedation. Through special training and experience, our team takes the time to understand your child’s needs, evaluate their health history and present all possible options. A doctor will consult with you before the procedure and conduct a short interview to determine whether your child is a suitable candidate for in-office anesthesia. Children treated in our office-based setting will go home the same day.
